This is a Contract position in Sandusky, OH posted August 5, 2021.
Overview We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator Responsibilities Willing and able to perform machine operating procedures for packaging units.
Unless otherwise directed by management, machine operators will rotate among themselves and be responsible for the designated line.
Able and willing to be responsible for minor repairs and adjustments Assist in training of operators Consult with management in developing, improving, and modifying standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and training manuals Work in conjunction with maintenance on maintenance and preventive maintenance functions within business units Help in establishment of equipment set points Other appropriate bargaining unit duties as assigned MON LI-RG1 Qualifications Preferred High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.
Manufacturing experience.
Shift flexibility where weekends and nights may be required.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and potentially stressful conditions.
Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
Ability to pass a skill qualification assessment.
