Lead Carpenter

Mancini Design Build is a architecture design+development firm. We are seeking a Lead Carpenter for residential renovation projects. The work required will be primarily carpentry. The projects will be in Philadelphia. This is contract work and you will not be an employee of Mancini Design Build. You will be working independently and also responsible for delegating instructions to carpenter assistant/apprentice. However depending on phase of work, you will also be working alone without apprentice. If candidate is a good fit then they can expect to stay on for duration of the project. There are also future projects being planned. Tools and transportation such as work truck is required. Usually materials will be on site but on occasion you may need to pick up material. Class A quality work is expected. Candidate is expected to follow chain of command and instructions.You will meet with project manager for instructions at project site. Candidate will be an independent contractor. The weekly schedule is four days per week, 8 hours per day, plus 40 minutes for lunch.
