HIRING – Machine Operator – Tallahassee, FL – $13-15/hr DOE

Kelly Services is hiring for a Machine Operator in Tallahassee, FL.

Summary/Duties:

• Responsible for day-to-day card production, maintenance of machinery/equipment, and any other procedures deemed necessary.
• Running print floor
• Loading consumables, clearing jams, and moving cards to Quality Control
• Ability to inspect licenses and able to determine good or bad
• Loading cards, paper into printer, clearing errors, and keeping accurate count
• Inspect cards and pick out minor details to determine if it is good or bad
• Setting up and operating a variety of automatic and semi-automatic machines used in the production of the Company’s product
• Perform daily cleaning of equipment and surrounding areas
• Keep scrap levels to a minimum
• Interfacing with the customer in a professional manner, either by telephone or delivery

Pay:

• $13
  – $15/h (depending on relevant skills and experience.

  Pay rate will be reviewed based on performance)

Schedule:

• Full Time – Temp to Hire
• Monday – Friday (OT & weekends when necessary)
• 7:00am – 4:00pm

Requirements:

*Must be US Citizen (and be able to show proof of citizenship)

*Must be willing/able to pass the company background screenings (criminal, drug and financial screenings)

*Cannot have any debts/accounts in active collections (for the financial screening)

*Must be flexible and able to work overtime (occasionally work 10-16 hour shift, depending on production needs).

*1-2 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred

*Must be mechanically inclined

*Able to follow written and verbal instructions that can be very detailed in nature

*Strong attention to detail

*Must be familiar with standard Microsoft Windows computer operation
