is established specialty sub-contractor firm specializing in Design / Engineering and Installation of Walk-in Temperature and Humidity controlled rooms for major Universities, Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies.

is looking for a Project Manager to handle commercial projects ranging from $40K to $2M.Projects’ activities include design, procurement, turn-key installation of a structure comprising of self-supporting insulated panels, refrigeration and humidity control equipment, refrigeration piping, ducting and electro-mechanical control.The candidate will possess high level of technical competency and strong customer service skills.Job responsibilities will include:Manage and supervise all phases of assigned projectsManage procedures to verify quality of work and conformance to contract documents and applicable codesReview and submittal of equipment and shop drawing submittalsBuyout and management of subcontractsAssure timely billingsEstimate and negotiate Change ordersManage project field labor to ensure conformance with established project schedules and budgetRequirements/ QualificationsGood CommunicatorProven track record of establishing and maintaining project schedules and cost controlsExperience in cost negotiatingComputer skills with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to multi-task is criticalManage multiple projects with varied completion datesPrior experience with MEP systems and equipment is very benefitialInfrequent overnight travel is requiredThe candidate selected for this position will be a self-motivated, high energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment.
