General Machine Operator

Staffmark

This is a Full-time position in Sheridan, AR posted February 3, 2022.

  • Daily use of overhead cranes in conjunction with moving product through the facility
  • Responsible for documenting daily quality checks
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance
  • Responsible for other duties within the department assigned by the Team Leader
  • Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects, and machine malfunctions
  • Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
  • Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and blue prints
  • Able to work overtime hours to include nights or weekend shifts, as needed.
  • Must be able to read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
  • Must be able to utilize measuring devices to determine product accuracy such as tape measures, micrometers, squares, etc.
  • Must be a dependable team player 
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs 
  • Must be able to operate grinders, banding equipment, nail guns, torches, and hand tools
  • Must be able to utilize measuring devices to determine product accuracy such as tape measures, micrometers, squares, etc.
  • Experience in overhead crane operation, preferred.
