JOB SUMMARY

This position involves processing various materials for the lamination process @ Flexcon. The job includes slitting, rewinding, and waste removal of laminated stock, war materials, or printed rolls. This position requires quality conscious attributes that ensure the specifications of the finished product are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

1. Load and unload rolls of stock to be processed.
2. Remove questionable material and splice web (in register if necessary.).
3. Machine operation to production targets.
4. Trim material to the proper slit width to include the set-up for various widths.
5. Identify quality issues and notify and/or advise personnel as warranted.
6. Enter production data in the business system and accurately account for the material processed as well as waste.
7. Properly identify finished product for inventory accuracy.
8. Perform quality check and enter data in the Infinity database.
9. Cross train in other areas as needed.
10. Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems requirements.
11. Must follow applicable Food Safety policies and procedures.
12. Other duties as assigned to advance the mission of MCC.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identify quality issues and compare to approved standards.
2. Troubleshooting machine problems and make necessary corrections.
3. Participate in process improvement opportunities to include identification and communication to Management.
4. Daytime or Overnight shifts available. 12-hour shifts. Monday-Thursday or Thursday through Sunday.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of High School Diploma.
2. Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs several times during a shift.
