Additionally, we strive to be results-focused in our decisions and priorities.Responsibilities and Duties for the Footwear Construction LeadExperience using an industrial sewing machineWork directly with design team to develop new footwear formsCreate paper templates/patternsInspects parts to ensure parts meet quality specifications from work order.Ability to line up and/or match cut leather patterns to sew a complete moccasin according to specifications.Specific vision ability required including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Ability to sit and stand for periods of time, lift, pull, and push as neededQualifications And SkillsRequirements will include but not be limited to the following:Must be reliablePattern Design experienceFootwear experience a plus, but not requiredEye for detailExperience with measuring and cutting toolsSewing experience, Industrial/Production preferred, but not requiredGreat communication and collaboration skillsAbility to multitask and be flexible to be cross-trainedMust be a self-starter and motivatorWork in a fast-paced team environmentMust be a team player with a positive attitudeBilingual (English and Spanish) helpful, but not requiredThis position works directly with the production team and collaborates with the design team to create new forms and samples as needed.We offer competitive salaries, health and dental benefits, a 401(k) program, and PTO.Powered by JazzHRJSwJjCqL6l
