Position Summary The Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator is responsible for processing all materials utilizing the standard operating procedures. This position ensures all materials leaving the facility are in an acceptable condition and meet the customer specifications. This position also has general material handling duties using a forklift.

• A minimum of 1 year of forklift and mechanical skills is a plus

• Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications

• Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of eight measurement, volume, and distance

• Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and in small group situations

• Must have ability to reason and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas

• Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

• Conveys materials and items from Receiving areas to storage or other designated areas

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code

• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 1 hrs of overtime per week
