Job Requirements
We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Forklift Operators. The prime function of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products. Successful candidates will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business. Flexibility with scheduled work days and shift preference is required.
Forklift Operators will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility so as to replenish production lines
- Securing loads before transporting
- Conduct routine inspection and maintenance on forklift
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment
- Identifying workplace safety hazards
- Adhering to safety management standards
- Adhering to production schedules
- All other warehouse duties as assigned by management
Work Experience
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Forklift certified through the state or previous employer
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, and walk during the course of the shift
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Bi-lingual a plus
