Forklift Operator

Job Description As an operator, you will be assisting in key operations around the plant – manipulating raw material into finished pallets. Experience will be rewarded, however, people that can work independently, safely, and efficiently, with or without experience, are preferred. We are not only growing hay, we are growing people. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Operating crimpers, forklifts, and loaders Moving hays between domes and facility Providing Mixing Operator with the correct amount of each hay in the hay bins Shredding hay Checking and Filling all fluids on crimpers, forklifts and loaders daily. Assisting at drier during drying season Assisting with keeping grounds and facility clean and organized Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 45lbs Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, lift arms fully above head and climb ladders Be on feet for 8 hours during shift standing and walking Company Description Lucerne Farms is a Fort Fairfield, Maine company that turns Aroostook County grown hays into high end finished products for the equine, pet and gardening industries nationwide.
