Job Title:Forklift Driver/ Warehouse Cargo HandlerJob Location:Torrance, CAAs aForklift Driver/ Warehouse Cargo Handleryou willfollow standard company procedures and safety requirements,including the movement of freight/equipment, may be required to perform pick-ups and delivery of materials in a timely and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:Under tight deadlines, drives vehicle to customer sites, climbs in and out of vehicle, and walks up and down stairs as required to pick up and deliver documents and packages to and from customers according to established procedures, in all weather conditionsPicks up, handles, and delivers cargo in a safe and punctual manner considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, traffic regulations, and driving conditions in order to meet customer and time requirementsLoads and/or unloads freight on pallets, in containers or on trucksOperates a scanner to record shipping and package information for freight picked up or deliveredMaintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety proceduresSkills / Requirements:Valid Drivers License with clean driving record; CDL class A (minimum) with hazmat endorsementMust be 21 years oldExcellent customer service skillsPrevious professional driving experience, preferably in a delivery role; good knowledge ofdelivery area is preferredAbility to read a map is preferredCandidate must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Must also pass medical physicalPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to seventy (70) lbs.
