Location: Benton Harbor, MI

Position Type: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire

Pay/Salary: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Bonus: $500 new hire bonus ($250 at start and $250 after 60 days based on meeting attendance and performance expectations)

Responsibilities/Duties

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Stock and pull orders from the warehouse to and from the dock.
• Read customer orders or requisitions to determine items to be stored or distributed from customer stock. 
• Convey customer products to and from warehouse areas as customer orders dictated by the use of a forklift or other means, both mechanical and manual.
• Place customer products on racks or freestanding customer and storage needs.
• Count and record the number of units of materials moved/handled on receiving and shipping documents. 
• Accurately record amounts of products received or distributed on shipping and receiving documents per company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED
• 1-year forklift preferred but will train new applicants if necessary.
• Ability to safely use various powered industrial equipment (i.e. forklifts, power pallet jacks); load and unload trucks and rails cars as required by customers.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
