Ferra Tex: Wet Out Laborer- Construction

Job Description FerraTex Services is a leading provider of wet-out services and Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP), CIPP liners, CIPP tubes and CIPP equipment.

With facilities in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Tennessee and Nevada, we are able to provide wet-out and CIPP solutions anywhere in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

We are looking for a Laborer to join the team for the Houston, TX area.

$13-$15 (DOE) Responsibilities Responsible for the preparation of Cure-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) linerAll aspects of CIPP liner preparation, to include: staging, loading and securing for transportMix chemicals that require wearing a respiratorKnowledge of safe work practices around chemicalsPerform all work according to supervisorAbility to work independently with limited supervisionFollow all quality and safety proceduresOperate wet out, truck conveyors, winch systems, operate static mixers, and other process related equipmentLoad wet out tube in totes or trucks or onto pallets according to proceduresCommunicate effectively with team members and managementKeep a clean organized work area and plant while assisting with set-up and cleanupAbility to operate a forklift when necessaryReport to work daily and on timeAbility to stand for extended periods of time, eight plus hours/day.Work in a fast paced warehouse atmosphere Physical Requirements: Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl and stretch for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications High School diploma or GED a plusMust be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal history background checkPrevious experience in construction or warehouse preferredMust be a quick learnerAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructionsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divideMust have a valid drivers licenseSome mechanical experience a plus All positions require: authority to work in the U.S.; pre-employment drug/alcohol screening; and cross-country traveling.

CIPP positions require extended stays at job locations.
