Position summary:

Performance Motion Devices, Inc. (PMD), a Boston-area leader in motion and automation technology, is looking for an Electronics Solderer and Assembler for our production facility in Westford, MA. In this role you will help us build and test next generation medical, packaging, and robotics electronics.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly & soldering of small electronics modules and cards
• Adherence to our ISO 9001 procedures and paperwork requirements for all work performed
• Other production dept. tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience as an electronic assembler
• IPC J-STD-001 soldering certificate
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment
• Experience handling and soldering electronic components
• Experience with mechanical assembly of small electronics modules and sub-components
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

Requirements:

This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Westford, MA.

Compensation:

This is a full time contract position with hourly compensation. PMD frequently makes offers of permanent employment for contract works who perform at a high level and integrate well with the production team. This may typically happen 3-9 months after beginning as a contract employee.
