ROLE: This role is responsible for performing production and assembly work in the manufacturing and assembly of door units, operating machinery and working in a hands-on capacity with a team building complete door units.

SHIFT: 6:00AM – 2:30PM, M-F

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Machining doors using door industry and door shop machinery
• Prepare materials and assemble interior and exterior door units
• Start and set up machinery
• Load and unload items from machinery, carts and dollies
• Label products as required
• Prepare product for shipping

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Our ideal candidate comes with the following skills:

• Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 on an inch
• Willing to become comfortable using the following:
  • Chop saws, table saws, rip saws, hand saws
  • Routers, nail guns, door machines
  • Various pneumatic tools and drills
• Willing to be cross-trained in all areas of production
• Physically fit and able to stand and / or be on your feet in a production environment for an entire shift
• Regularly lift, pull and push 40-50 lbs. throughout an entire shift
• Regularly twist, bend and squat throughout an entire shift

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, depending on experience
