JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
oEfficient Split Die Machine set-up and operation.
oMove bundles and handle dies weighing between 2-10 pounds.
oPlace nested bundles into machine to produce de-nested bundles.
oLocate, mount, set up and maintain dies.
oEnter production data in the system and accurately account for the material processed.
oProperly identify finished product for inventory accuracy.
oPerform quality checks and identify issues compared to approved standards.
oMust follow applicable Safety policies and procedures.
oOther duties as assigned to advance the mission of Multi-Color Corporation.
oTroubleshoot machine problems and make necessary corrections.
oCross-train on related machines and various job responsibilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
oMust be safety conscious around knives, gears, dies and pinch points.
oMust adhere to safety requirements regarding PPE.
oAbility to manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision.
oHighly organized, detail oriented.
oEnthusiasm for learning and personal growth.
oGood written and verbal communication skills.
oAbility to use and a working knowledge of office equipment (copiers).
PHYSICAL AND/OR MENTAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to:
•Wear hearing, foot, eye and/or other personal protective equipment while in a manufacturing setting
•Continually stand for a prolonged period; moderately to frequently walk, stoop, bend, and kneel.
•Frequently use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and grasp/clasp; use hands and arms to reach for items in the work area
•Frequently vertically lift and/or horizontally move up to 50 pounds (20 pounds on a repetitively ); Use hands and arms to push or pull up to 35 pounds
•Vision abilities include – close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish color variations, and ability to adjust focus
•Medium to loud noise environment
•Work flexible/varying schedules and hours as needed
•Work overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines
