Construction Technician

Petro Towery is seeking qualified candidates in our Somerset, KY location!
This position services the construction needs of Petro Towery and its customers.
Pay Range $16-$30 per hour
Install petroleum dispensing equipment at retail and commercial fuel outlets Remove and install petroleum underground storage tanks Work with a crew of technicians to plumb and wire fuel dispensing equipment Install indoor and outdoor lighting Operate aerial lifts and bucket trucks Run electrical conduits and pull wiring to electrical controls and lighting systems Thread and install steel and fiberglass piping components Operate excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, compactors, skid loaders, air compressors, concrete saws and jack hammers Set the standard for quality and customer satisfaction in the marketplace Work in a safe manner always for personal benefit as well as the benefit of Petro Towery and its customers Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations Do required work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers and CDL Maintain a positive attitude and strive to improve daily on newly acquired skills Responsible for displaying conduct which reflects positively on the construction department and Petro Towery as a whole, as well as our customers, internal staff, and other technicians Ensure that you are always in proper dress uniform and present a professional image to customers and the public Promote Petro Towery’s mission statement, strategic intent, and company policies Promote sense of teamwork and cooperation between all departments and locations Set the standard for quality and customer satisfaction in the marketplace Technicians are expected to provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectations by ensuring that all assigned duties are completed in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements
Must have or attain a valid Commercial Driver License (Class A) Prior construction experience is preferred Maintain a clean driving record and pass a DOT medical exam Be willing to obtain an Underground Storage Tank Certification Maintain parts and inventory control, appearance and maintenance of company trucks Complete necessary invoicing and administrative duties Submit to random drug testing
