Construction Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated professional to fill the position of Construction Site Supervisor with Canam.

This role requires travelling throughout the USA and possibly Canada if needed.

As a member of our team, your responsibilities include:

* Coordinatewith plant coordinators (steel delivery, steel deck, joists, hardware),steel erectors (daily requests), and project managers.
* Attend field meeting with other trades and summarize to the project manager.
* Coordinatewith the detailing/engineering department field works, revision of drawings, clarifications (missing details).
* Accepterection drawings (follow-up on acceptance dates).
* Follow-up with transportation for deliveries issues.
* Reception of materials and hardware (validate all delivery slips).
* Daily site report (daily log plan grid).
* Assist the steel erector in repair requests (field work anddeficiencies).
* Quality control, visual only.
* Assist health and safety coordinators.
* Attend and participate in, on and off-site meetings; including, but not limited to, health and safety meetings.
* Updatedaily site progress in Smartsheet.
* Monitor schedules and update on a daily basis.

Communicate with various stakeholders and the general contractor.
* Manage on-site record-keeping, including but not limited to, daily site specific hazard assessments.
