Construction Materials Technician with TxDOT Certifications and Experience

(TWE) is seeking experienced technicians with TXDOT certifications to work on TXDOT projects around the Houston area.

The preferred candidate should possess the following TXDOT certifications Level 1A, Level 1B, Aggregate 101, SB 101, SB 102, SB 103, SB201, SB 202 and level II or a combination of these.

This position will require testing and inspection of various construction materials including soils, concrete and asphalt.n n Responsibilitiesn Produce timely and detailed reports Operate vehicle in a safe manner and follow our corporate safety procedures at all time Follow all company’s procedures and protocols Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization Build positive relationships with clients Arrive at the job site to which you are dispatched, on time each day Communicate with dispatch on a daily basis Communicate with onsite clients each day and relay any information to managementn n Requirementsn Must have dependable transportation, a truck is preferable as we have an incentive program to use it for work Must be able to pass a drug screen Must be able to pass background check Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment Capable of maintaining an “On Call” type schedule and must be willing to work obscure hoursn n Benefitsn n TWE provides its full-time employees with a benefit package that is inclusive of the following:n Health Insurance with an option for HSA with matching contributions Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Long-Term Disability Life Insurance (Individual $50,000 coverage is 100% paid by TWE) Catastrophic Accident Insurance (Individual $50,000 coverage is 100% paid by TWE) Guardian Supplemental Benefits 401(k) Retirement Program with up to 4% employer match (eligible after 180 days).
