Growing construction firm with offices throughout Texas is seeking a Construction Manager to manage current and upcoming projects in the San Antonion/Austin area. We focus on residential development construction in hardscape, landscape, amenity centers, parks, fencing and entry monuments. Must be local, have local trade base, be able to work independently, communicate professionally with Architects, Engineers and Clients.Will be traveling to and from projects throughout San Antonio/Austin. Salary, truck allowance, gas card, bonuses, and cell phone. Prefer Homebuilding Superintendents, Development Construction Managers, with the ability to read plans, work with budgets and take ownership of your projects.
Job Requirements:
- Manage and schedule subcontractors and vendors
- Coordinate with local municipalities for permits, inspections and final approvals for project closeouts
- Coordinate and attend meetings with Architects, Engineers and Developers
- Manage all projects from beginning to completion, including turnover to Developers and HOA’s
- Send weekly reports to immediate supervisor, Architects, Engineers and Developers
- Inspect and maintain quality of construction
- Locate and hire subcontractors and vendors as needed for projects
- Ensure project sites are kept clean, adhere to safety guidelines, maintain SWPPP as needed
- Hit all scheduling goals
- Maintain budgets
