Construction Executive

This professional assumes a similar role to that of a Project Manager, but during preconstruction. Strong communication skills and a proven track record of team collaboration are essential to this role. Proven track record leading the pursuit and preconstruction of design-build Multifamily and/or Sr. Living projects is preferred.

What you can expect:

• Work with National Preconstruction leadership to rollout and refine processes, establish best-in-class cost intelligence information, identification of industry pricing trends, and help grow Multifamily and Sr. Living Sectors.
• Lead design-build project preconstruction efforts including but not limited: facilitating design meetings to drive value into project, negotiate with and issuing design agreements to consultants, assist Development with entitlements, creating and managing entitlement schedules and pursuit budgets.
• Lead the transition of the preconstruction process to construction execution including: organized estimate and design document handoff, continual partnering with project execution team regarding bidder selection and subcontractor award, summarizing key deal points for project execution team, periodic follow-ups with team to harvest cost intelligence and continually improve.

Qualifications:

• Educational and experience requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a construction, engineering, architecture or related field. Applicant needs be a team player with strong independence and expect some required travel.
• Multi-family and/or Senior Housing project experience preferred.
