Construction Estimator/Project Buyer

We are looking for a Construction Estimator/Buyer who is willing to grow with us.

Candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties.

Estimating, bidding and submitting proposals for Commercial and Residential Construction Projects.

The areas of focus will include but not limited to: Review drawings, plan take-offs, measuring properties for field estimates, process invitations to bid, pre-site inspections, prepare estimates.

Evaluate incoming bid specifications and drawings for residential and commercial projects and create an estimate, based on project specifications to order the materials.

Stay abreast of product, supply and sub-contractor prices as well as the Company&039;s operating production capabilities to ensure accurate estimates and scheduling.

Solicit and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from subcontractors Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity Has a thorough understanding of the scope for specific trades assigned Follow up on anything that needs additional attention (highlighting points of interest, discrepancies, ambiguities or details missing from plans or specifications) Requires: A minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Estimator/Project Buyer.

Very familiar with the pricing of construction materials in the current market.
