KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Preparing detailed take offs and estimates
– Understanding project goals and deadlines
– Reading and understanding plan drawings and developing accurate take offs
– Proposing innovative solutions
– Soliciting, evaluating, and negotiating sub-contractor quotes KEY REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or related field.
Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
– Minimum of 5 years construction estimating experience; heavy-highway and civil preferred
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
– Knowledge and experience using HCSS preferred
– Highly organized and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
– Strong adherences to milestones and deadlines
