Communications Construction Supervisor

Responsible for checking the quality of work performed on construction sites and remedying quality as necessary Provide direction to staff to ensure efficient and cost effective operation within approved operating budgetsResponsible for total management of assigned staff.

This includes hiring, disciplining, training and supervision of employeesCoordinate construction plans with crews and sub-contractorsComplete and maintain all necessary project paperworkCommunicate with management on project progress and developments Serve as liaison between the Company, customers and utilitiesResponsible for ordering and tracking construction materials May lay-out and design construction maps, and work from the maps of othersResponsible to identify unsafe/hazardous conditions for self, other employees, customers, and the general publicAdhere to all established company safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedMinimum ExperienceHigh school diploma or GEDMust have at least five (5) years’ experience as a communications construction supervisor Must possess a valid driver’s license with 2 years’ driving experience and a clear driving recordMust have good customer relations and communication skillsMaintain a professional attitude and appearance at all timesMust have RF & OSP construction experienceBe self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructionsDemonstrate the ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with a wide variety of personalitiesAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks and projectsBe able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checksMust be willing to travelCable Services Company, Inc .
