Caterpillar: Forklift Operator – 1st, 2nd And 3rd Shifts

Job duties may include the following:$16.06 per hour for 1st shift with a 5% premium for 2nd and 3rd shift Locating and movement of products to storage or the assembly line in asafe timely manner.

Ability to inspect and perform regular maintenance to forklift as necessary.

Use of RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory.

Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification through proven operation ofequipment.

May rotate to various positions within the Job Function area to perform relatedactivities.

Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement IdeaReporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.

May investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies and notify appropriatepersonnel of results or required actions.

Ability to identify damaged material and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

Identify and correct or report safety hazards in the work area.

Ensures grief and receiving processes and procedures are updated andcommunicated.Basic Qualifications: At least 6 months of warehouse operations experience At least 6 months of stand up forklift experience Experience with Glovia OM including storing, ordering, picking and delivering materialPhysical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor Must be able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures Must be able to walk, squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutesTop candidates will also have: Caterpillar product knowledge Current stand up AND sit down forklift license Experience with kitting operationsAdditional Information: Resumes are highly encouraged for all applicants.EEO/AA Employer.
