Business Development Manager-New Construction

Job Summary

Drive business in the New construction segments of Multifamily and Single family within assigned territory.

Works with Single Family National and Regional builders, Developers, Owners, Designers, GCs, plumbers, and wholesalers to grow market share in new construction segment for Pfister faucets.

Manages the process by working internally with Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
(25%) Implements a business plan to strategically grow territory and maintain business while improving profitability.

(Multifamily and Single Family) (20%) Develops and maintains influential relationships with key decision makers of new construction locally and regionally with Developers, Builders, GC’s and Owners.

(20%) Works with plumber Territory Managers to convert projects.

NAM is considered the expert and go to person regarding all MF/SF activity.

(10%) Coordinates, tracks, and controls New Construction quote activity for area of responsibility.

(10%) Develops and maintains project database (MF) & Builder database (SF) (5%) Works with National Account Managers to develop vertical Territory Managers.

(5%) Works with Marketing and training to develop sales support and training needs specific to the builder sales process.

(5%) Leadership role in Multi-Market and Local builder shows.

Education and Experience Profile
Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of equivalent work experience Min.

of 7 years of proven sales along with Account Management preferred.

Required Skills
Computer skills (Microsoft Office
– Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Teams preferred) Strategic Presentation and Networking Skills (both in person and virtually)
Work Environment
Ability to travel 40-50% of the time throughout the coverage region.
