Backhoe Operator – Construction

This is a Full-time position in Arizona City, AZ posted March 7, 2021.
nnPRIMARY FUNCTION nn nnWe are looking to add Backhoe Operators to join our experienced team.
This position will generally work on projects in and around the greater Phoenix metro area.
Some projects outside of Phoenix may require travel from time to time.
You must be an experienced equipment operator and self-starter, capable of jumping right in and getting the job with minimal supervision.
nn nnThis position will operate equipment in a general construction setting.
As an equipment operator, the incumbent will operate machinery to perform activities such as excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading and final clean up.
Other duties good include general labor work when machinery work is on pause on the project.
Underground utilities digging experience a must.nn nnTYPICAL DUTIES: nn nnWorks in a team environment and will perform duties such as: nn nnExcavating Trenching Ditching Backfilling Gradingnn nnHeavy equipment operators may also perform certain job functions as a laborer or other tasks on a project to support project completion, if required.
nn nnSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:nn nnTo be considered for this position you must have previous industrial underground construction experience.
nn nnExperience operating a backhoe or other similar heavy equipment in an underground utility / construction environment a must.nn nnCandidates must be able to demonstrate operating a backhoe or other similar heavy equipment or machinery on site as part of the interview process.nn nnAdditional Requirements include but may not be limited to: nn nnEffective communication, teamwork and adherence to safety are essential for this position nn nnRequired Training: nn nnSafety Orientation, Quality Orientation, MSDS, Trench safety nn nnNew Hire Safety Orientation, MSDS, LOTO and QMS are required on or before the first day of employment nn nnAll applicants extended a contingent offer of employment for any position within our company will be required to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening prior to actual employment.
