Summary: Performs a variety of functions in the assembly of company products, including parts cleaning, bagging, boxing, assembly, testing, crating and shipping. Primary Function: Gathers parts required to be painted. Inspects parts for paint quality and removed from paint line conveyor. Assembles and boxes mount kits and subassemblies. Assembles main products, using hand tools and overhead hoists Test or assists in testing operation of completed product. Crates products. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Position Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and use measuring devices. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED is required. No prior experience or training. Must regularly be able to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds for force constantly. Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. May be regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and vibration. Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and other manufacturing materials. Noise level is usually loud. Must wear necessary safety equipment.
