Summary SUMMARY The Assembler II has ownership of the assembly stations assigned.
He or She is responsible for safety, efficiency, quality and overall productivity.
The Assembler II will be expected to perform basic and intermediate assembly processes at within the department.
Essential Functions ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Follow a prism based schedule.
Ability to properly assemble basic and intermediate components within the Roto department which includes but not limited to cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting and/or using self-tapping screws to secure components to main body part.
Order and control hardware and insure all is inventory is accounted for.
Ability to recognize and follow departmental quality guidelines.
Perform all aspects of product packaging including boxing, labeling, taping, stapling and stacking cartons using established pallet patterns.
Knowledge of using basic hand and power tools.
Maintains a personal efficiency rating in accordance to Key Performance Targets not to fall below 100%.
Willing to cross train as needed in all the assembly cells which include; Non Foam line, Ingredient Bin line, LCD line, Ferry 11 line, Bus Cart line, Kits, Packs, Food Bar & FSG line, Routing, Re-box area.
Print labels using computers and proper application methods.
Perform FG (finished goods) transactions with all associated labeling requirements Follow all established assembly procedures and work instructions.
Access the ESP program via computer Ability to follow verbal assembly instructions and repeat process Adjusting to different work assignments throughout the work day.
Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
Follow all department quality standards/criteria.
Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ERP system experience with Prism, Intermec, and/or AS400 system Bilingual in Spanish.
