Assembler

Job Title: Assembler – Level 2 – Lifting 30lbs or less moderate machine operation

Location: Owings Mills, MD – 21117

Duration: 03 Months (possible extension)

Hours: 7 AM – 3:30 PM (OT as required for business need)

Description:

· Safety shoes required, Hand tools preferred; Steel Toe Shoes required from Day 1.

· Should have at a minimum 5 yr. of assembly experience using tools (hand tools, drills), etc.

· Must have mechanical assembly experience – this site builds tote handling and conveyor systems.

· Must be able to read assembly drawings and schematics to assemble per specifications.

· Machine building/Industrial Mechanic background a plus; assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.

· Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

· Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

· Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

· Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent; may require 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Special Considerations:

· Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.

· Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are NOT anticipated.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Salary: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
