Assembler

Position Summary

Production workers are responsible for mass production of a specific product in a manufacturing facility. Duties may vary from operating machinery, assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections and quality control. Reports to: Supervisor and Line Leads Job Requirements Minimum education requirements: High school diploma or general education degree preferred but not required. Previous experience in the production industry preferred but not required.

Minimum skills requirements:

• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and to stand for long hours at a time.
• Physically able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
• Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects.
• Employees must be self-driven and hard worker.

Essential Duties

• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
• Work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently without compromising quality
• Maintain a minimum productivity standard rate of 75%
• Maintain a quality standard of 100%
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Report any machinery issues to management
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends
