Assembler

Adecco is actively seeking Asssembly workers in Horsham, PA.  While working as an assember for Adecco you will earn $19.00-$20.00/hr. and receive a weekly paycheck. These positions are temp to hire!
As an assembler at our local client you will work as part of a team to produce products according to customers specifications and quality control standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs simple repetitive mechanical or electro-mechanical sub-assembly work. Direction provided by verbal instructions or established assembly procedures. Requires simple adjusting and fitting of pre-finished parts. Uses simple hand tools.
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Performs assembly operations either by wire bonding, soldering, spot welding, staking, or epoxying.
• Performs assembly under a microscope.
• Operates ultra-sonic welding apparatus.
• Conducts tests for some final units.
• Performs life testing programs utilizing a computer.
• Provides training or instruction of co-workers and other employees when needed.
• May operate turning-center-assisted tig welding to specific programs established by Manufacturing Engineering.
• May rotate to other workstations in the unit.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
 
Position Requirements:
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to follow workplace safety standards and company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team setting and contribute to building a positive team spirit.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Soldering experience (or Certificate) Preferred.
• Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small parts. Work is typically performed at a bench and may include walking or standing some of the time
• Basic computer skills.
