Assembler

Summary:We have an opening in Hagerstown, MD for an Assembler. This role will focus on machinery in a manufacturing/industrial setting.Perform assembly procedures on any and all types of precision grinding machines and/or components. Works from assembly drawings to complete the assembly process of machines to include assembly of all components and sub-assemblies; completing all hydraulic piping and hydraulic components hook ups; mounts electrical motors and certain other related electrical apparatus; Travels to customer plants for installation and/or service as required.Requirements:Minimum 2 years’ experienceMechanical aptitude and its application to machine tools, specifically grinding machines is essential; able to read and understand assembly drawings, hydraulic diagrams as well as verbal instruction; familiar with assembly procedures to include necessity of tolerance requirements for different fits; familiar with scraping procedures; ability to use various hand and power tools; must be a creative, organized, hard working self-starter with a willingness to learn.Term: 6 Months Temp Contract to PermOur client is looking to fill the Assembler position ASAP.
