Upon placement into a full-time job, apprentices start their new careers by participating in paid orientation and training.Role of an Energy Utilities Installer ApprenticeEnergy Utilities Installers perform a wide range of duties such as:Solar array layout, assembly and installation of racking systemInstallation of photovoltaic (PV) system componentsSet, secure and test drive motorsConnect ground-mounted support structuresLay out and connect conduit and junction boxesWhy Should You Apply?Gain meaningful employmentPaid on-the-job trainingReceive tuition-free educationEarn incremental pay increasesObtain industry-recognized credentialsCompensationStarting at $18.00 per hour during orientation and training with incremental wage increases as competencies are achieved.
