3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator

Shift Hours

Third Shift 11pm-7am, training hours start on first shift and may vary

Position Summary

Required to efficiently operate the CNC that will enable us to process 300 square feet per day of manufactured goods in an eight-hour shift. Process job which have a programmed CNC file, ensure quality from another workstation, and approved specifications depicting point of origin, file name and certification. At the completion of the job update status in electronic tracking system.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor CNC Machines
• Efficiently operate the CNC machine in order to attain the required precision cuts for each job
• Ensure the correct material is loaded and programed
• You are directly responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all equipment assigned to you
• Clean assigned work areas and equipment at the end of each day
• Coordinate repairs of equipment as needed. Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with operating manuals and procedures, and maintain your assigned work area in a high state of cleanliness/readiness
• Track and update job status in Moraware
• Other duties and responsibilities

• Abilities: Work with multiple departments
• Education: Certified CNC operator (will train if necessary)
• Experience: 1-2 years’ experience stone industry

Who you will work with:

This position will be report to the Production Supervisor and work with following departments; CAD, Saw Operator, Polishers, and Quality Control.

Work Environment

Operate the CNC in an Environmentally controlled and safe environment.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.
