1st Shift Machine Operator

Job Description* Start up/shuts down, loads/unloads and operates production equipment, rotating between several areas of manufacturing (Saws, Degrease, Rotoblast, Grind, CNC machine tending, etc)* Perform daily tasks based on Bosch AA-AS Safety guidelines* Continually monitor manufacturing methods, processes and procedures to ensure departmental and business goals are met while maintaining or improving cost competitiveness, which includes identifying, recommending, and implementing necessary improvements* Follow Area Standard Work* Ability to change equipment tooling based on material requirements* Read routing* Produce parts to within specifications* Monitor for quality* Complete paperwork* Schedule and prioritize work* Clean area/equipmentQualifications* High school diploma or GED required.* Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.* Prefer machine operating experience.* Strong interest in, and ability to learn multiple forms of manufacturing.* Ability and desire to rotate to and operate a variety of production equipment* Attention to detail.* Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.* Ability to perform job safely.* Ability to clean and organize work area (stack, sort, sweep, use solvents/cleaners, broom).* Must have a good verbal and written understanding of the English language* Ability to work overtime and alter hours as necessary.* Must be within a commutable distance to facility.
