Technical Writer E & J Gallo Winery

Kelly Services is currently hiring for a Document Writer with one of our top clients in Modesto CA; E & J Gallo Winery.

Qualified candidates would have prior lab expereince and/or experience in the following: Job duties/Responsibilities: Technical documentation creation and update existing documentation.

Technical/mechanical know-how to document procedures (step-by-step and tools used procedures) and ask questions.

Intermediate MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, upload documents to ShareDrive or similar application.

Use Camera, Scanners, Laminators.

Provide technical document writing for rebuild/preventative maintenance procedures and update to improve existing procedures Job shadow system matter experts to document in detail (pictures, step by step, tools required for each step, etc.) how to rebuild components Details: Pay: $15/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Term: Contract 12-18 months Requirements: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required Ability to work and gain trust quickly from mechanics and controls technicians Ability to ask questions and probe for deeper information Skilled in communication, listening, and following processes Skilled in the use of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level.

Date, time, location, system matter experts of contacts will be provided Tools provided: laptop, camera, writing utensils and paper, printers, scanners, laminators, etc.

Ability to flex schedule as required for off-shift rebuilds While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and smell.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Will be working in manufacturing environments.
