The organization was founded in 1972 to serve the needs of vulnerable populations throughout New York City.n nWe are looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to help perform day-to-day projects for HANAC Substance Out-Patient Program.n n Take the daily temperature of all staff and visitors entering the building Enter Admissions and Discharges in the OASAS Data Collection System Collect, ensure billing note is in Accumedic and submit to Billing Agency all Weekly Billing Sheets Compile Monthly Treatment Contact patients to remind them of their appointments at the program Complete phone intake when individuals first contact the program and provide program information to callers Troubleshoot with Quest
– answering faxes or mail from Quest and following up on open request, filing screens into the patient charts, ordering supplies Order office supplies Responsible for supply room
– keeping it in order/neat Handle mail Hand out metro cards Provide Day 1 intake to patients with documents to fill in waiting room and make copies of insurance card/ID Review and copy all the required documents Collect copays & document receiptsn Requirements:n n Associates Degree in related field or HS/GED plus two years of related experience.
Bachelors Degree preferred 2-3 years administrative office experience required Must be able to work independently and efficiently, as well as part of a team Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Excel The ability to easily learn new electronic platforms required Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadline pressuresn Hourly rate: $17 Per Hourn nWork Schedule: (3) day based on program needsn nPowered by JazzHRn nIZbQSrMzid
