is looking for a System Administrator to install, maintain, upgrade and manage its operational software and hardware for various locations across the US.
this role is remote, and the Systems Administrator would be traveling to individual job sites to setup the software system as well as completing initial training for the staff.
The Operations Admin will work with the Operations team to manage our devices and employee deployment software for a high-profile Fortune 500 Company and will be expected to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This position will be expected to, identify and document root cause for service disruption, deployment barriers, triage the situation and implement durable processes to drive operational excellence in a complex work environment.
The Operations Admin may be required to work outside of normal business hours.

Has a consultant’s mindset to quickly identify root cause and possible solutionsInstall and configure software and hardware (cellular devices)Set up accounts, grant user permissions and train on using handheld devicesSet up client locationsTrain Operations on proper deployment of system and useMonitor performance and maintain systems according to requirementsTroubleshoot issues and outagesEnsure security through access controls, backups and firewallsUpgrade systems with new releases and modelsDevelop expertise to train staff on new technologiesBuild an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policiesEstablishes and maintains exceptional client relationships and rapportDevelops operational improvement plans and implements process changes for assigned projectsCultivates a strong safety culture to provide a safe work environmentGathers and maintains required administrative tasks for daily, weekly or monthly reportingPerform other duties as assignedTravel for up to 60%
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience3-5 years of management experienceExperience in facility services or building managementExperience in warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing environmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailSolid business acumen and basic accounting principlesProficient in Microsoft Office & ExcelAble to pass ABM’s background check process and have a valid State issued driver’s licensePrevious custodial experience desired a plusExperience in Facilities Operations, Retail operations knowledge is a plus, System Administrator, Network Administrator, IT admin or similar roleExperience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch managementKnowledge of system security (e.g.
intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recoveryFamiliarity with various operating systems and platforms such as PowerBiResourcefulness and problem-solving aptitudeExcellent communication skillsBS/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g.
