– Replying to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner, while corresponding with phone calls within minimum rings
– Updating various files and providing general office duties, e.g.

faxing, data entry, scanning, etc.

– Being helpful to patients filling out forms
– Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner
– Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations
– Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money in accordance with established procedures
– Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage
– Managing the management of patient medical records
– Signing in patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries Job Requirements:
– 1 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist
– Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of medical terminology
– Skills in multi-line phone systems preferred
– You will be a top applicant if you have experience with insurance billing and an electronic medical record system, as well as social media platforms
– Excellent telephone etiquette and keyboard skills
– High School Diploma required, A.S.

Degree in healthcare/related field preferred
– Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
– Epic EMR experience preferred
