Look no further Aspen Careers is partnering with a law firm to find an IP Administrative Assistant for their downtown Columbus, Ohio office.

Who you are: You have 3-5 years of Intellectual Property experience in a law firm or legal department.
You have prior patent and trademark prosecution experience as well as domestic and foreign filing and electronic filing experience.
You are a self-starter and can work independently and as a team.
You pay attention to the details and deliver top-notch professionalism.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office and can type a minimum of 65 WPM.
You can handle multiple and competing deadlines and priorities in an effective manner and can focus on client services.
You have experience with PCT & e-filings.
What you’ll do: You’ll prepare patent applications and prosecution documents including amendments, responses, Information Disclosure Statements, during all stages of patent and trademark prosecution for attorney review.
You’ll work with the team to prepare client matter forms and prepare legal documentation and correspondence.
You’ll manage and coordinate calendars, schedules, travel plans and other administrative tasks for attorneys.
