Interior Design Administrative Assistant Full Time
– 40 Hours per Week Established interior design firm located in West Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a full-time administrative assistant.
We are seeking a candidate with 5 years of administrative and bookkeeping experience.
Experience in the design industry is welcome, but not required.
This is NOT a design position.
Qualifications: Professional Administrative or Bookkeeping Experience: 5 years Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency in Quickbooks Knowledge of Design Manager software is welcome but not required.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently on tasks Candidate must be organized and detail-oriented Candidate have strong communication skills Job Description: Answer phone calls Manage design showroom including shipping, receiving Filing Bookkeeping Processing and tracking Purchase Orders, including filing and following up on claims Prepare financial and job status reports for management Assist with scheduling of sales reps, design meetings and contractor meetings Maintain relationships with sales reps, vendors and contractors Provide superior service to clients during all phases of projects
