nn RESPONSIBILITIES :nn Answer phones Check insurance benefits prior to appointments Route calls to specific people.
Answer inquiries about the company.
Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
Ensure the reception area is tidy.
Coordinate mail flow in and out of the office.
Gather personal and insurance information.
Arrange appointments.
Cash-out people when necessary.
Send emails and faxes.
Collect and distribute parcels and other mail.
Perform basic clerical duties.
Take and relay messages.
Update appointment calendars.
Schedule follow-up appointments.
Confirm scheduled appointments Check clients in and out on electronic health record system File documents in patient charts via scanning and uploading to EHR Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations Perform other related duties as assigned by the Office Manager nn QUALIFICATIONS: nn Must be Bilingual
– English/Spanish High School Diploma or equivalent 1 to 2 years of Reception experience in a fast-paced office, preferably in medical or mental health office Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Ability to learn new software Must possess the personality and demeanor to work with difficult clients Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented Thrive under pressure in an outpatient client environment Must be a team player nnJob Type: Full-timenn nnJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contractnn
