Concierge/Receptionist Danville, IN Woodland Terrance of Danville, an active senior living community that features independent living, assisted living and memory care, is seeking a Full
– Time Concierge, for its newly constructed premier property.
The Concierge is the first person residents and visitors see and engage with when they enter building.
A qualified concierge candidate will have a warm and welcoming personality to make an excellent first impression on guests and make residents feel at home.
Candidates must also possess the ability to quickly assess what guest and resident needs are and provide directions to appropriate staff member or location.
The Concierge also answers the front desk phone, assists with transportation scheduling and coordinates maintenance requests.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements * Requires reasoning skills and the ability to carry out detailed, written or oral instructions with common sense* Requires effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills* Requires administrative and organizational skills* Requires solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office with above average ability in Excel.* Requires a strong attention to detail.* Requires ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments* Requires ability to work collectively with the administrative team as well as other departments* Requires willingness to learn and follow company policy and procedure* Requires ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
Education and Experience * Minimum of one year experience in an administrative assistant/receptionist/customer service role* High School diploma/general education degree (GED) with relevant experience.
