This is a Contract position in South Bend, IN posted January 26, 2022.

Coley, a world-class, government contracts management firm, has an immediate opening for an Administrative Specialist .

Youll primarily work from home with occasional in-person meetings in our San Antonio Office.

As an Administrative Specialist, you will work under the direction of our senior managers to learn to prepare and submit GSA Schedule contract actions, including proposals, modifications, electronic catalogs, and other administrative changes.

Youll exceed client expectations and meet project requirements in accordance with company policies and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, communications, and spreadsheet skills.

Youll be able to adapt quickly to a variety of software applications and online research tools; and enjoy taking on new challenges.

Position: Administrative Specialist Location: San Antonio, TX (100% Remote) Job Type: Full-time Job Description Qualifications: AA/AS Degree with 3 years relevant experience.

BA/BS Degree preferred.

US Citizenship Required.

Intermediately-level skills with MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Strong analytical skills required.

Ability to quickly learn new software.

Experience working with GSA or Government Contracts preferred.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Highly detail-oriented and motivated.

Strong work ethic, client relations skills, and teamwork skills.

Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and be able to receive a positive verification through the Governments e-Verify system.

Primary Responsibilities: Reviewing solicitations and assisting with the coordination, preparation, and production of proposals, modifications, and administrative changes to federal contracts.

Preparing routine correspondence, negotiation memorandum, and contract documentation for contracts manager review and submission.

Developing complex product catalogs using Excel Spreadsheets and routine calculations Preparing, organizing, and maintaining contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.

Researching internet-based databases to support contract actions and assessments.

Entering data into the companys internal software applications, including timecard entries, project status reports, and other contracts related information.

Researching contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to help the contracts manager ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedure.

Performing research and data collection to support senior managers conducting contract audits and or facilitate business unit contracting trends.

Answering incoming telephone calls, determining purpose of callers, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department.

Performing other clerical duties as needed, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and collating.
