Job DescriptionIn a vast market covering several states, American Fence Company is one of the Nation’s top ten largest fence contractors. With eight operations providing products in over thirteen states, our company boasts the Midwest largest fence and barrier installation operation.Behind our sales, production and operations is a top-notch administrative team, committed to provide support. This position is a member of that team. You will need real competency and high energy as you will be working both independently and in a group. In addition, you will be working with all facets of the business from our customers, managers and sales staff.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Associate Degree or two (2) years of college required (related experience may be substituted)High level of computer proficiency EXCEL, WORD and AccessOral and written communication skills.Knowledge of general office proceduresKnowledge of records management procedures.Ability to remain flexible as daily priorities change.Ability to organize work and manage time effectively.Ability to think and act creatively when needed.Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions.Ability to work with all types of people in a professional and courteous manner.Job Specific Duties:Performs administrative and office support activities for sales, marketing , and management staff.Field telephone calls and responding to inquiries for custom projects and online sales.Perform customer outreach to include introduction, verification of project specifics, pricing and payment details, and delivery information.Generate and track branch purchase orders, receivings, and accounts payable paperwork.Process orders for online sales via accounting and shipping software.Create and maintain tracking spreadsheet(s) for orders as specified in the standard operating procedure.Provide billing support to wholesale department by issuing invoices, monthly statements, and updating customer files.Maintaining and updating product information on multiple sites, including our online store, Ebay, Amazon, and social media sites.Maintains electronic and physical filing system.Creates, locates, prints, and distributes reports and bids as requested.Assists with written and verbal communications as needed.Other duties as assigned. Equal Opportunity Employer
