Administrative Assistant-Agriculture Loan Processor

Northwest Farm Credit Services is in search of an Administrative Assistant-Agriculture Loan Processor to join our Lending team in our Pasco, Washington, branch.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, we help business owners in agriculture, forestry and fisheries secure the financing they need to operate and grow, and the crop insurance they need to protect their livelihoods.

Our customers are primarily located in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

This highly customer service driven full-time position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for assisting with preparing loan documents and processing loan transactions.
Provide excellent customer service
Gather customer information in order to complete loan documents
Meet with customers and present documents for signing; respond to customer inquiries
Accurately enter and maintain customer information into applicable systems
Process transactions including checks and receipts
Coordinate with external entities such as title companies, escrow services, attorneys, appraisers, insurance, and real estate agents
Perform file maintenance on loans, including managing customer accounts, updating yearly monitoring requirements, and confirming continued insurance coverage
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent
Ability to organize and prioritize work, and produce accurate reports and documents
Exceptional customer service orientation
Strong computer skills, and experience using MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial lending, banking, or related field
General knowledge of applicable credit laws and regulations
Knowledge of credit investigation and verification practices
Knowledge of platting and legal descriptions
