Position Summary:
Provides general office support with a variety of administrative activities and related tasks. Assists with the recruiting process for direct and support positions.
Position Requirements:
1. Process payroll transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and any other systems, as required.
2. Act as a technical resource for employees to address and resolve inquiries and problems relating to HRIS systems, such as password resets, requests for print outs and badges.
3. Assists with the recruiting function with items such as: requisition management, application review, scheduling and conducting interviews, background checks, offers and onboarding.
4. Communicates new hire information to appropriate departments and follows-up with newly hired employee on start dates and employee orientation.
5. Creates and processes termination checklists per HR Generalist/HR Manager input and files all necessary paperwork.
6. Manages the entry of disciplinary points in the ERP system and notifies HR Manager of any discrepancies.
7. Completes Unemployment wage and hour confirmation requests.
8. Maintain confidential employee files to include personnel and medical.
9. Assists in coordinating Corporate Human Resource Projects including: Perfect Attendance, You’re Appreciated, and Service Award Programs.
10. Sorts and distributes incoming mail and monitors bulletin boards for posting that must go up or come down.
11. Orders, receives, stocks and maintains office supplies.
12. Assists with various administrative projects.
13. Maintains an accurate list of available lockers and ensures lockers are prepped and ready for the next occupant.
14. Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
15. Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of SSI Technologies, Inc. which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
16. All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education:
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6 – 12 months related work experience and/or training. Required.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, required.
