VP Investment Banking Technology

Our Investment Banking Group provides clients with the full range of financing and advisory services to achieve management’s objectives throughout the entire business life cycle. Company is seeking an experienced investment banker with significant sell-side experience. The selected candidate will assist with identifying, developing and executing investment banking transactions. In addition, will develop day-to-day client interaction responsibilities and assume responsibility for managing and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad range of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions
  • Plan, structure and execute financing transactions in the public and private markets
  • Financial analysis and modeling; conduct industry and market research
  • Assist in preparation of company marketing and transactions materials; prepare client presentations; perform due diligence
  • Analyze financial statements, review and assess business plans, and manage day-to-day contact with clients and related parties
  • Advising corporations on mergers and acquisitions
  • Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions
  • Performs other tasks and duties as required and assigned

Experience and Skills

  • MBA, CFA, CPA or other advanced degree/credentials desired
  • At least 5 years of relevant investment banking experience
  • Current FINRA Series 79, 63 licenses preferred
  • Highly proficient in financial statement analysis
  • Advanced financial modeling and financial statement analysis skills
  • Technology industry experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Capital IQ, Thomson One, Venture Source, Bloomberg and other databases
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Solid work ethic and a passion for the securities industry
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
