Your Responsibilities will Include: Creating and delivering a compelling category-level narrative for our Financial Services strategy that inspires the market Developing and growing a marketing and GTM strategy for Wealth Management, Insurance and Banking to address the specific needs of the verticals but still fit into your overall Financial Services strategy Leading a diverse and talented team that develops the industry positioning strategy and messaging which articulates the vision for our fast growing portfolio of Financial Services products Working in close alignment with the broader Industry Marketing teams to find the right product positioning and launch plans for our emerging products Being the portfolio expert collaborating with the industry's most respected vertical sales team to develop plays and sales programs that help drive pipeline, find new buyers, and cross-sell into existing accounts Working with our internal demand generation, content, social, and creative teams to hone the strategy and marketing programs that build audiences and drive demand in Financial Services Being proactive in recognizing where parts of the Financial Services business may need extra marketing support and then effectively choosing the right levers to pull Working closely with the industry experts and Analyst and Press Relations teams to ensure effective thought leadership and ongoing relevance in a competitive market Driving a robust communications plan to ensure stakeholders inside and outside of marketing are aligned and energized by your programs Leading, mentoring and growing a team of top industry product marketing and GTM marketing talent Position Requirements: Team-oriented, innovative, and experienced individual Leadership DNA, proven ability to inspire, have fun, and lead a diverse industry product marketing and GTM marketing team People-focused leader with proven ability developing talent, and building creative, collaborative extended teams; linking performance to overall business objectives Equivalent of 8+ years of product marketing or closely related experience Ability to be a player/coach
– you are responsible for leading the team but willing and able to participate in all aspects of execution as needed Demonstrated experience in synthesizing and translating market needs into product requirements, ability to manifest the product vision/direction in via compelling positioning and messaging Proven experience globally launching new products and growing to a mature business Proven experience in setting an effective marketing strategy, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in executive internal and external discussions Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally, and build strong relationship with stakeholders Compelling verbal communication and visual presentation skills Bachelor's degree Desired Skills and Experience: Previous experience in Financial Services marketing ideal Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments navigating a diverse set of stakeholders Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree is a plus Accommodations If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Posting Statement At Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
